Licensed Roofing Contractor CCC1336198

Roofing Contractor Naples, FL

We've been doing roofs in Naples for 20 years. Tile roofs, metal roofs, shingle roofs—we've replaced thousands of them after hurricanes, age, and Florida's sun. Most Naples homes have concrete or clay tile, which lasts 50+ years if it's installed right. But the underlayment underneath wears out in 20-25 years from heat and UV exposure.

If your roof is leaking, missing tiles after a storm, or if you can see daylight in your attic, call us. We'll come out, inspect it for free, and tell you whether you need a full replacement or just repairs. Our roofing license is CCC1336198—you can verify it on the Florida DBPR website.

Roofing Materials We Install

We don't use cheap materials. Here's what we install and where we get it.

Tile Roofs

We install Eagle Roofing concrete and clay tiles. They've been making roof tiles in California since 1919. Their Capistrano and Malibu profiles are what you see on most high-end Naples homes. Rated for 150+ mph winds when installed to Florida Building Code.

Tiles last 50+ years. The underlayment underneath wears out in 20-25 years from heat, but the tiles themselves hold up.

Shingle Roofs

We use GAF and Owens Corning architectural shingles. GAF Timberline HDZ and Owens Corning Duration—both rated for 130+ mph winds. These are 30-year shingles up north. In Florida, figure 15-20 years because of UV exposure.

Shingles are the most affordable option. They work fine if you're not planning to stay in the house forever.

Metal Roofs

We install standing seam metal roofing with concealed fasteners. Galvalume or aluminum, 24-gauge or 26-gauge depending on your budget. Metal roofs last 40-70 years in Florida and handle hurricanes better than anything else—nothing to blow off.

Metal is expensive up front but the longest-lasting option. Good choice if you're staying in the house long-term.

Where We Source Materials

We get most of our roofing materials from Naples Lumber. They're local, they stock everything, and they know what works in Southwest Florida. When you need materials delivered fast after a storm, local suppliers matter.

All materials meet Florida Building Code requirements for high-velocity hurricane zones (HVHZ). We don't install anything that won't pass inspection.

Roofing Contractor Naples FAQ

How much does a new roof cost in Naples FL?

It depends on size, material, and how complicated your roof is. Asphalt shingles run $4-7 per square foot installed. Metal is $8-15 per square foot. Tile—which most Naples homes have—is $12-25 per square foot. For a typical 2,000 square foot home, a tile roof replacement costs $20,000-$35,000. Metal roofs run $25,000-$60,000. Shingle roofs are $12,000-$25,000. We give you exact numbers after we inspect your roof.

How long does a roof last in Naples?

Less than up north because our sun is brutal. Asphalt shingles last 15-20 years here (compared to 25-30 in northern states). Metal roofs last 40-70 years. Tile roofs can go 50+ years, but the underlayment underneath needs replacing every 20-25 years even if the tiles look fine. Our UV exposure, salt air, and hurricane winds wear roofs out faster than they do in other states.

Does Naples require hurricane-rated roofing?

Yes. Florida Building Code requires all new roofs in Naples to meet 150+ mph wind resistance standards. That includes specific nailing patterns, underlayment requirements, and tile attachment systems. We follow these requirements on every roof—it's not optional. Your insurance company checks this after hurricanes, and if your roof wasn't installed to code, they can deny your claim.

Do you handle insurance claims for roof damage?

Yes, and we're good at it. We document everything with photos and detailed reports, meet with adjusters, provide estimates insurance companies accept, and make sure you get what you're owed. After Hurricane Ian, we helped hundreds of Naples homeowners navigate their claims. Insurance companies often lowball the first offer—proper documentation makes the difference between a fair settlement and getting shorted.

How do I know if I need roof repair or full replacement?

Replacement makes sense if your roof is near the end of its life (15+ years for shingles, 20-25 years for tile underlayment), damage covers more than 30% of the roof, you have multiple leaks, or there's sagging or structural problems. Repair is smarter for localized damage, single leak points, or roofs that are still relatively young. We'll give you an honest assessment during our free inspection—we're not going to push replacement if repairs will fix it.
